Hin Chang Si

 Hin Chang Si is located in Nam Phong National Park, Bann Fang District, Khon Kaen Province. The entire Ubolratana Dam can be seen form here. Hin Chang Si is the large rock with the curve in the middle which later becomes the name of this place.

-The rock forest on the high mountain surrounded with the lake and jungle. Be fascinated with the beautiful sunrise and sunset.

The large rocks which are located on Pa Sok Tae ridge, to the north of the national park head office is the location to appreciate the most beautiful sunrise and sunset at Nam Phong. “Hin Chang Si” was named because there was an elephant rubbed its body with the large rock and left some soil mark on it. At the peak of the viewpoint, the basement looks like the skull which is standing isolated. From here, the panoramic view of the greenish forest in the north, south, and the east, including Khon Kawn city view is visible. Also, the west is the expand beautiful natural view of Ubolratana Dam which ends at Phu Wiang Range and Phu Kao Range. In winter, the mist is floating above the water and the forest like the sea waves which is very charming and breathtaking. This area is also available for camping. At Hin Change Si, there are some geometric drawings which are the trace of human during prehistory period.
